If you are in search of a stylish way to keep your iPhone 5(S/C) or iPad mini perched upright and ready for use at a moments notice then the Hi-Rise from TwelveSouth may be just what you are looking for. 

Made of brushed aluminium and sporting a solid feel (once assembled) this stand will certainly assist in showing off the beauty of your little iDevice. TwelveSouth have a knack of making cool looking, although sometimes a tad expensive, peripherals. 

As usual it would appear great deal of thought went into the design of the hi-rise. Most charger/stands can only function with the iPhone going commando. Obviously we all like to protect our favourite little iDevice and so we usually cover the little fella after initially admiring its sleek lines. 

TwelveSouth have anticipated this and offer three different clips that adjust the height of the charging cable, also a slideable back plate allows the stand to be adjusted to accommodate the thicker back of a protected device.

The result is a stand that will cater for a wide rage of third party cases and bumpers. 

The charging cable (not supplied) threads through the base of the unit and pokes up through one of the aforementioned connection clips. 

As I mentioned some assembly is required but the instructions are easy to follow and the Allen key required is located in the units base. 

Although there are many alternatives to the Hi-Rise none quite equal it's elegant design and compliment your iDevice perfectly and elegantly.
